Annual Report 2013

View FMA's 2013 Annual Report, released yesterday.  It covers our second year of operation and tracks our progress towards building fair, efficient and transparent financial markets, and provides an overview of our key achievements and outcomes.

Charitable and religious purposes exemption review

We have now completed our review on exemptions for charities from the usual Securities Laws requirements that should be available to charities. The existing notice giving exemptions, the Securities Act (Charitable and Religious Purposes) Exemption Notice 2003 (the 2003 Notice), expires on 30 November 2013.

We have two new exemption notices which will come into force on 1 December 2013.

FADC amends its Procedural Rules

The Financial Advisers Disciplinary Committee (FADC) has announced some changes to its Procedural Rules. A full list of rules can be found on the FADC website.
