From the President

Greetings all,

Well it has been an interesting month for communications in Australia. With the Gasp fiasco and QANTAS union dispute, communicators across the country are watching - and talking about how best to deal with their responsibilities in times of crisis, particularly in a world of instantaneous communication.

To be held at lunchtime on Friday November 18, Sam North (Ogilvy) and Barbara Sharp (Pax Populus) will give commentary on the GASP and QANTAS case studies. Tickets are on sale now and more information is available on the website.

Earlier this month the board met to set the strategy for the coming year. It was a very productive session (especially considering the 9am start on a Sunday morning) and the result is a comprehensive plan that will drive our operations over the coming 12 months.
