Aurecon is developing and implementing sustainability strategies to improve the financial and environmental performance of a new mixed-use development in Shanghai, the Mapletree Minhang Development Project. Read more

 

Oxford Terrace precinct kick starts Christchurch CBD rebuild

The Oxford Terrace Entertainment Precinct redevelopment will be one of the first precincts to help kick start the rebuild of the Christchurch CBD. Aurecon is assisting with the structural design of this mixed use development, which will have the latest in low damage seismic technology. Read more

The South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Awards for Innovative Excellence in Property Development were announced last month and Aurecon is proud to have been part of the project teams on four award-winning projects. Read more

 

Government awards funding to help design “gigantic” SKA project

An Aurecon led consortium has been conditionally approved for funding to assist with the design of the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project after the Australian Government recently announced grants totalling AUD19 million for organisations from across the country which will be contributing to various work packages. Read more

Aurecon provided pro bono engineering services for Saigon’s Children Charity (SCC) which recently celebrated the much anticipated opening of its Dai Truong kindergarten, one of two SCC kindergartens in Vietnam’s Tra Vinh province.

Westgate Footbridge, New Zealand

Creative solutions were needed for a new 220 metre long pedestrian and cyclist connection in Auckland. Aurecon used 3D drafting and 3D structural analysis models due to the complex geometry of the trusses and skewed piers.
