Nottingham City Transport (NCT), has officially launched a new voice and data communications system from Tait Communications, which is already bringing a number of significant benefits for the transport provider’s passengers and operations.
Tait has provided the radio communications component of NCT’s Intelligent Transportation System supplied by INIT, including Automatic Vehicle Location, an on-board integrated information system and voice and data communication between 340 buses and the NCT control room.

Vital investment and reliability programme result in record year of Tube performance

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has welcomed the latest performance figures for London Underground, which confirm that the Tube reached record levels of performance and improved reliability over the last twelve months. He attributed the improvements to a reliability programme introduced last year and a massive programme of investment.
