Barnard College Construction Update - Feb. 18, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

This has been a relatively quiet construction week on campus.  The abatement work has been completed in Lehman Hall and the construction team is preparing the building for demolition. We expect that work to begin in early March and should be finished by mid-to-late May.  This week, we also started building the scaffolding on the south side of campus between Lehman and the Barnard Hall Annex.

Here's what to expect over the next two weeks:

Two Week Look-Ahead -- Feb. 18 – March 3

In addition to preparing Lehman Hall for demolition, we also will be finishing the installation of the sound-deadening blankets inside the construction fences around the entire perimeter.  These blankets have already been installed on the inside of the two entrances to the site.
