On Friday afternoon, we gave a tour of Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool to the local community board, as well as representatives from local groups and organisations. As you can see below, the facility is coming along nicely. With the roof and walls complete, our contractors Apollo Projects Limited are now focused on the inside. The meeting rooms, kitchen and changing rooms are taking shape, while all the pools are now in place inside the pool hall. Read more on Newsline. Do you want to work at Te Pou Toetoe?We're now looking for people who want to work at Te Pou Toetoe when it opens later this year. The first jobs to be advertised are Aquatics Team Leader and Swim Education Team Leader. Both jobs close on Tuesday 6 April. In May and June there will also be ads for supervisors and frontline staff – the lifeguards, learn to swim group fitness and aqua fitness instructors, recreation tutors and customer service people who'll work with the community every day. You may have what it takes to join our team, but you may not even know it – why not come and talk with us about the jobs, how you could fit, and how we could support your training?
