Welcome to this month's English National Youth Arts Network newsletter! It is the first of our updated formats as part of a summer makeover that we've been giving our website. Survey Finds Youth Clubs Key to Children's Wellbeing

Children and young people who attend youth clubs will be happier and healthier than those who do not, a survey suggests.

David Seward, chief executive of Berkshire Youth, said the findings affirmed the importance of youth work. “It demonstrates the worth and value of youth clubs and Berkshire Youth’s ambition to help young people realise their full potential."

“The survey findings also highlight the many positive things young people do for their communities and the high percentage that volunteer at youth clubs, charities and schools across the region to help others.”

The Anne Frank Trust UK, the British educational charity that challenges prejudice and hatred, would like to invite 13-15 year olds to join their national online diary writing campaign, Generation Diary.

Generation Diary is inspired by Anne Frank’s remarkable diary that she started writing at 13 and was cut short at the age of 15 when she was arrested and sent to a concentration camp whilst hiding from the Nazis. Her story continues to touch millions of people around the world today.

You have a voice just like Anne, and The Anne Frank Trust UK want to hear it.

Submit as many diary entries as you like throughout the year, with a chance to have your entry selected for publication on then Generation Diary website.
