Kindergarten eNews

We have enjoyed learning about the farm this week!  We will again use the farm as our unit study next week.  There were so many interesting tools from the farm.  Next week’s show and tell will be about the farm as well.

Next Week

  • Show and tell: Bring something grown or raised on a farm.  No real animals, please.
  • Bible verse: Eph. 6:1  “Children obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.”
  • Bible: Isaac and Jacob and Esau
  • Reading: We have sight words that we are learning this nine weeks. These are the words that you might want to review and practice with your child:  I,  see,  a,  on,  and,  the,  has,  is,  at,  had,  got,  no,  for,  of.  We haven’t learned all of them yet, so don’t expect them to know them all.  Start with just a few and gradually add on.  Our letter next week is Hh.  We are reviewing all of the other ones we’ve learned as well.
  • Math: More and less, greater and fewer, number families, writing number 4.
