Brunswick Neighbourhood House mark their Digital Hub territory

DeakinPrime was proud to be invited to the launch of the first Victorian National Broadband Network (NBN) enabled Brunswick Digital Hub. The Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, Senator Stephen Conroy, said that the Brunswick Digital Hub and the Moreland Digital Local Government project will both focus on reaching out and making NBN services accessible to everyone in its diverse community.

This workshop will require you to roll up your sleeves, get out of your chair and learn via experiencing. We all know that experience is a powerful teacher, however learning on the job can be costly so why not reduce the risk and practise first?

Pursuing my career as a Professional Big Wave Surfer, travelling the world to surf at the biggest and best wave locations on the planet. I founded Charge for Charity, which is my quest to overcome my fears to catch a 50 foot wave to raise $1,000,000 for Breast Cancer Australia. If women can fight cancer, then I can conquer my fears to catch a 50 foot wave. It is my way of giving back to others, whilst living my dreams.
