Member Story: Arthur Cox Launch Shared Parenting Policy

The policy allows an employee who is a father, adopting parent, foster parent or same sex parent the opportunity to apply for fully paid leave after the birth of a child. The policy has been launched as part of the Inclusion and Diversity programme in the firm, led by Diversity Partners, Grainne Hennessy and Geoff Moore, and is part of a series of steps to actively support diversity (gender, LGBT and ability) in the firm. GLEN says goodbye to Alan Hatton, our wonderful Events and Communications Officer.  Alan’s attention to detail and design skills have made a huge contribution to our work in making workplaces LGBT inclusive. Alan was also the design wizard behind Yes Equality’s referendum social media campaign.
