Recent years have seen more openness about that - yes, cloud does have cost saving benefits, but they’re only in the earlier days. Now a report from a SaaS VC powerhouse has flagged how for scaled-up players cloud could be doubling their infrastructure bill, and wiping hundreds of billions out in shareholder value.
