South East Bridge News Update
July/August 2015

Welcome to the latest edition of the South East Bridge enews.

This month, we have highlights from the successful engagement programme Jump Start, which saw primary and secondary schools across Hampshire learn from experts in theatre, visual arts and music, as well as a range of free downloadable case studies for users registered on our website.

We also look forward to the Strong Voices presentation that will take place as part of the AHI Discover Heritage Awards 2015. The project, Light Fever, has been nominated for an award and Portsmouth Autism Support Network will share a two-minute presentation at the evening, detailing the project itself.

Remember to book your free places for the Heritage Lottery Fund briefing session and upcoming Young Workforce Seminar, which will take place in Portsmouth in early October.

Thanks again for subscribing and we will see you all next month,

CASE STUDY | The Impact of Strong Voices on Independent Arts Practitioners in Portsmouth, Gosport and Havant

Running from April 2013 to March 2015, our Strong Voices programme connected Portsmouth’s young people, families and schools with the city’s world-class arts, cultural and heritage facilities, including theatre, film and animation, craft and museums.

For those involved in the delivery of the projects themselves, the goal was to improve the skills, knowledge, understand and networking of adult professionals (including youth workers, arts and
cultural practitioners and educators), leaving them better equipped to support young people more effectively in future engagement work.
