Happy New year!

We don’t know about you, but we have a great feeling about 2015.

After seeing how amazing 2014 was for volunteering in Tasmania in the SOVR 2014, we have big hopes for this year.

We are looking forward to making some positive changes based on your feedback, including the launch of our new, more user-friendly website, due for release in the next month or so; as well as the first of our Red Tape Mythbuster sessions, designed specifically to meet needs raised by you.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines in previous years, take the next step and give us a call, or send us an email. We’d love to meet you this year, hear your insights about the sector, and help you to achieve your goals.

Just around the corner...

VIKTOR/Volunteer Connect - a reminder for Managers of Volunteers/Co-ordinators

The beginning of the year is a great opportunity to make sure your Volunteer Connect advertisements are up to date, as well as your insurance.

A large number of users have had their insurance lapse on 1 January.

Please log in to VIKTOR and update your insurance details as a matter of urgency.

Why not take the opportunity to review your ad content too?

We have had an influx of potential volunteers contacting us (thank you, New Year’s Resolutions!) and so now is a great time to make sure your details are current and message is fresh.

Any questions, please contact Tracey in the Hobart office on 6231 5550 or email TraceyM@volunteeringtas.org.au

Keep up to date...
