Don't forget your mom (step-mom/grandma/aunt) on Sunday, May 14! Our terrific bakers and deco staff have been busy creating beautiful cookies, cupcakes and cakes for our favorite moms.  A big thank you goes out to everyone involved in creating these products.

As Sweet Ali's employees, we are well aware of some of the issues faced by those who need to be gluten free (whether they have celiac disease or are gluten free for other reasons).  This is just a quick reminder that May is Celiac Awareness month--let's stay well informed and help educate others about this disease.

Besides Mother's Day, May is for graduations, communions and Memorial Day.  The bakeries are busy preparing cakes--MANY cakes--as well as cupcakes, cookies and other products to celebrate these special events.

In June we will celebrate the first anniversary of Sweet Ali's Glenview! We're looking for ways to promote this milestone and thank our customers. In that regard, we're holding an employee contest to come up with the best idea. 

No idea is too crazy...as long as it doesn't cost a fortune.

Attendance at the GFAF Expo in Schaumburg was up 15% this year, and Sweet Ali's sold out of product!  Here are some pix of our wonderful staff at the SA booth!

Dallas and Monica represented Sweet Ali's at the University of Chicago Celiac Center annual fundraiser.  We donated mini cupcakes and flower cookies, which were greatly appreciated by attendees.
