Click here Barnard College Update - Monday, June 12, 2017Dear Claremont resident: Just a quick update to let you know we plan on pouring concrete tomorrow (Tuesday, June 13) so expect an increase in traffic along Claremont as the concrete trucks come to the site. While we don't expect workers to be onsite during the evening hours sometimes conditions warrant them staying beyond our scheduled hours. We're also pleased to share that the construction team has started installing the exterior walls on The Milstein Center (see photo below). The workers are starting on the Broadway side of the building and will move around and up as the summer progresses. The façade of the building is made up of large patinated zinc panels. You can get a good look at the panels through the windows in the North-South Walkway. Thank you again for your continued patience and have a great week. Schedule The schedule continues to be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Questions? For general questions and comments, please email me at newbuilding@barnard.edu. If you have an urgent issue that needs to be addressed immediately, please email constructionteam@barnard.edu during regular work hours, or call Barnard Public Safety at 212/854-3362 outside of regular work hours. You can also find our overall construction plan and specific construction-related FAQs on our website: http://barnard.edu/about-barnard/new-teaching-learning-center/construction-faqs. Thank you.
