Cracking Ideas for Spring Time

Cracking Ideas for Spring Time

Spring is in the air and the creative juices are flowing!

March is the month when spring is in the air, the sun comes out and our creative energy returns after the dreary winter months. It has proven to be a fantastic month for many iconic inventors, just take a look of some of March's triumphs below!

1790 The first shoelaces were invented!
1845
The first rubber band was patented by Stephen Perry of London
1876 Alexander Graham Bell was granted a patent in for the telephone.
1879 Albert Einstein was born
1886 Coca-Cola was first introduced (yum!)
1895 Louis Lumiere patented a motion picture machine.
1921 Harry Houdini was granted patent #1,370,316 for a "diver's suit"
1994 The largest omelette (1,383² ft) in the world was made with 160,000 eggs in Yokohama, Japan!!

Here at Cracking Ideas we’ve decided to embrace the March motivation bug and are spring cleaning! Not literally with a feather duster and a mop, but by taking a look at the Cracking Ideas website and seeing where we can refresh, polish-up and give a new spring look. Keep your eyes peeled as lots of fresh innovative material, a brand new competition and oodles of fab new creative content will be revealed next month.

Last Chance for Big Prizes!

Last Chance for Big Prizes!

Why not adopt a sunny disposition, grab the new broom philosophy, and get cracking with the creating?! There is still time to enter the Cracking Ideas competition at www.crackingideas.com/competition so why not have a go at coming up with Wallace and Gromit’s next business venture and be in with a chance to win some cracking prizes.

Will the creative duo design a new-fangled super-washing up machine for their spring cleaning company or maybe they’ll take a swipe at inventing an amazing novel fly swat for all those pesky bugs that’ll be coming our way in summer?

Try a Eureka Challenge....

Try a Eureka Challenge....

Someone who has already ‘cleaned up’ (groan!) is last month’s Eureka Challenge winner - I love Bitzer with the 'The Complete House As bedroom cleaning device'
Well done to you, your prize is on its way.

Don’t forget there’s still time to have some March fun and embrace the shades and shapes of spring by designing a logo label for Wallace and Gromit's new clothing range in this month’s Eureka Challenge.

Until next time, I invite you to put your best foot forward with a spring in your step, wake up from your winter hibernation and be inspired by March’s optimism!

Cracking Regards.
