It's been a fantastic quarter for Urbanise; we have successfully secured one of the largest property developers in Dubai on both our facilities and strata platforms. The merging of the two markets is finally happening with strata companies looking to offer facilities, and facilities companies buying strata companies. Urbanise is uniquely placed to capitalise on this growing trend to help our customers work across both markets. The product team has been extremely busy, and we are releasing some exciting features that we hope you will enjoy. Saurabh Jain
Here is a snapshot of some of our customer wins over the last quarter. Objective Strata Management Pty Ltd (OSM) has several years of industry experience offering end-to-end strata management services. With a mission to provide quality strata services, OSM has implemented Urbanise Strata to ensure strata management, communication and accounting is managed seamlessly within one, user intuitive system. Metro Strata Management, with over 10 years' experience, are focused on delivering cost effective and leading service to its communities. Metro Strata is powered by a team of agents with expert knowledge of changing legislations and are dedicated to creating life-long relationships to help navigate change in a fluid industry.
Urbanise continues to focus on bringing our technology and products together into experiences and solutions that deliver new value to customers. Our dedicated team had the privilege of working with LinkSafe, an industry-leading compliance management software provider, to accelerate technology innovation, and drive business impact to provide our customers with a comprehensive solution to meet their safety and compliance goals and objectives. The logic between LinkSafe and Urbanise resulted in a fully integrated system that provides a comprehensive solution to Urbanise in the management of contractors in the FM environment. Contractor information, including their individual employees, is integrated between the two systems. This means that work orders assigned to contractors in Urbanise will be checked for compliance in both LinkSafe and Urbanise at the work assigned stage, the pre-site compliance check stage and at the on-site stage. Urbanise users will receive notification of contractor compliance, non- compliance or pending compliance in both the Operations Module and the Force Mobility App of the Urbanise Facilities Platform. Real-time syncing of information between LinkSafe and Urbanise ensures accuracy of contractor’s compliance status thereby removing the potential of non-compliance at every stage along the contractor‘s pre-work process. “Our alliance with Urbanise enables users to have a fully comprehensive contractor management experience. Not only does it give the ability for users to have the traditional benefits of what LinkSafe can offer via its powerful contractor management tool, but it gives users the ability to seamlessly integrate with a single platform that offers leading facilities and asset management solutions.” David Erczmann, General Manager of LinkSafe. Other new features delivered this quarter included:
The team has also recently begun implementing the Zapier integration platform, which will enable Urbanise customers to integrate data and automate tasks with their in-house systems. As a first step, the team have been busy building the triggers and events that will enable flexible data integration and automated workflows between systems/applications. Some other features we're also working on in the background include an extension to the Timesheet module for capturing non-billable time (eg. leave, training) and a complete re-architecture and re-design of job-based appointments and scheduling.” STRATA Leslie Leahy The Urbanise Strata team hit the ground running with several features delivered in Q1 that are already having a real impact on the day-to-day lives of our clients. Our ePost feature (delivered late last year) has undergone several enhancements, based on user feedback, including an enhanced Activity Log to help understand if a mail item has been delivered or not, and email notifications to the manager if something can’t be delivered. However the feature making the biggest impact is our new Microsoft Active Directory, and Google SSO integrations – one less password is always appreciated in today’s multi-application world. Some other new features delivered in Q1 include:
Very soon we will be releasing the first version of our Microsoft Word Add-in, which will be available from the Microsoft Store. This add-in allows our users to create Word documents using merge fields (such as “Bank Balance”) from the Urbanise Strata platform, these can then be mail merged directly in Microsoft Word pulling data from the cloud. We’re looking forward to seeing all the interesting templates our clients will create with this new functionality. We look forward to continuing delivery of features that make a positive impact to our users in the quarter ahead.
