Good afternoon,

Linked below is the State Shipments for January 2019.

Here are a few key findings:

  • Total beer shipment volume grew by 1% in January, the second consecutive month of growth.
  • Calculated on a 12-month basis, U.S. beer shipment volume decreased by 0.6% -- the smallest decline since February 2017.
  • Some suppliers reported distributors building inventories on new products, such as hard seltzers, in January in anticipation of demand growth in the coming warmer months.
