WFRN Executive Officer Transition

Dear Members of the Work-Family Community,

The year of 2018 will become an important marker in WFRN history.

As many of you know, the founding Executive Officer of WFRN, Dr. Jerry A. Jacobs, is departing.  He will soon begin yet another impressive career journey as he engages in a fellowship at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) at Stanford University.  We extend to Jerry our sincere thanks for his leadership and many contributions to WFRN.

The WFRN Executive Committee will soon initiate a search for a new Executive Officer.

While we conduct the search for the next Executive Officer, we need an interim officer with deep WFRN experience and strong leadership skills to support us as we prepare for the next chapter.  We are pleased to introduce you to Dr. Stephen Sweet of Ithaca College who will assume the role of Interim Executive Officer for the next six months.

Please join all of the members of the Executive Committee in applauding Jerry for his work and welcoming Steve to his new position as the Interim Executive Officer.

Regards,

The WFRN Executive Committee
