We are pleased to annouce that Therapeutic Associates Sherwood Physical Therapy now offers Physical Fitness Exams!
The Physical Fitness Exam is conducted by a Physical Therapist who measures your musculoskeletal and cardiovascular metrics to determine your specific risk factors. You receive a custom fitness plan designed to help you achieve functional goals, overcome road blocks and live an active and healthy lifestyle. The Physical Fitness Exam can be provided as part of your physical therapy care. Your Physical Therapist can help determine when this testing is appropriate for you in relation to your individual goals and health risks.
Your physical therapist can help determine which of these exercises are best for you and customize a treatment program based on your diagnosis, your level of pain, and your current and desired hip function. Even if you do not have any pathology or pain, you may want to incorporate these 5 exercises in your general fitness or strength program.
