This session on Tuesday 5th October at 7.30pm will focus on CV writing and job applications. It also goes through how to use Zoom for anyone who may be uncertain about joining an online event. Click below to check it out! Michael's Wing Walk Michael has taken on a pretty incredible challenge in support of our work. He told us, 'My son Tom was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. He has had several major operations and hundreds of procedures. He has become a brilliant singer, actor and musician. I am his proud father who wants to give something back to CLAPA – so with immense trepidation I’m standing on top of a biplane doing 120mph and a loop-the-loop!' Thank you, Michael! Kiltwalk for CLAPA! Get ready for the live Kiltwalk in Glasgow on the 26th September! By walking for CLAPA you'll save money on your registration fees, receive a free CLAPA t-shirt, and have full support from our team throughout your fundraising experience. Most importantly, you'll be playing a huge part in making sure others going through similar experiences to yours can benefit from our support services for years to come. Registrations are open so invite friends and family to join the fun, and contact fundraising@clapa.com to get your place today. CLAPA Voices The voice of the cleft community is the foundation of everything we do at CLAPA. From developing new services to shaping our messaging, we want people affected by cleft to be involved every step of the way. CLAPA Voices is your chance to be heard! Need to Talk? Wherever you are on your cleft journey and whatever you're going through, you're not alone. With CLAPA's Peer and Parent Support Service, you can chat to a trained volunteer about whatever's on your mind. Thank You! As it nears the end of August, we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in CLAPA's Big Summer Party this year! You've brought your local community together, raised vital funds to support our work, and helped spread the word about cleft - and we think you're amazing. Thank you for helping to make our work possible. Elizabeth's Craft Sale Elizabeth recently raised £491.75 for CLAPA by organising a yard sale and selling her handknits, handbags, and other crafty creations!
