Police Foundation Scholarships Awarded

Each year for the past 5 years the Police Foundation has awarded two scholarships to assist qualified individuals in their pursuit of continuing education. The "Herb and Penny Wender Scholarships" consist of two individual awards in the amount of $2,500 and the 2017 recipients of those awards were recently named. For more information click here.


Florida State Competition

Each year, our Palm Beach Gardens Police Explorers participate in a statewide competition sponsored by FAPE - the Florida Association of Police Explorers. The competition was held this year in Palm Beach Gardens so our Explorers felt right at home... and showed it by finishing second among 28 participating agencies and bringing home 10 trophies in highly competitive events. Community Involvement Unit Sergeant Wins ASIS Award

At the Annual ASIS International LEO Awards Luncheon on May 25th, Sergeant Geoff Soule of our Palm Beach Gardens Police Department was nominated for and awarded their "Community Policing Award." Soule is an expert in the field of CPTED - Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design - and works closely with the City's Planning and Zoning Department. For more information click here.
