It’s been held up as a holy grail and a new survey shows big enterprises are certainly counting on it as a key for their long-term success, with the majority of companies polled expecting new revenue growth from their data prowess. CDOs, however, aren’t so confident, saying their companies aren’t investing enough, and they aren’t investing in the right places. What has been delivered is not really cutting it for long term results. They know it but getting other execs to genuinely embrace data-led thinking is a more complex task.
