Dear friends and colleagues, 

2025 was a year of reflection and momentum and we are thrilled to share it with you. 

Central to 2025 was the development of our new strategy, shaped by our family's commitment to significant growth in giving, and by our deepening interest and understanding of where and how we can have the greatest impact.

This new strategy sets a solid foundation for growth that is values-led, grounded in meaningful outcomes for communities, and focused on improving systems where they are falling short.

Our strategic pillars continue to guide us: Our Place, Our Country, Our Sector and Our Family. We've sharpened our impact priorities through five interconnected themes: Community, Youth, First Nations, Gender and LGBTIQ+, underpinned by a strong Ecosystem approach.  

To meet the scale and ambition of what lies ahead, new leadership roles within the team were established, and we welcomed new colleagues and advisors, creating a group of people we are enormously proud of.

Strategies and structures only matter because of what happens in communities. And in 2025, our partners delivered something remarkable; the breadth and depth of their work is incredible. We supported them through 196 grants, 198 grants to individuals, and 38 social impact investments. Behind every one of those numbers is a community, a leader or an innovator working courageously to create something better.

This review is a celebration of these people, our partnerships, my team and my family. Enjoy the read!
