 Seizing the sunny days
Well, there’s one thing that’s for sure: spring has well and truly arrived. Over the last couple of weeks the UK has basked in glorious sunshine – so much so, in fact, it almost seems as though it will never end! Having said that, we Brits are unfortunately accustomed to our fair isle’s notoriously unpredictable weather. So, whilst we may thoroughly enjoy our walks on the beach, barbecues in the garden and bike rides with the family – the prospect that it may soon come to an abrupt end is never far from our minds!
But with this comes a ‘seize the day’ attitude; we won’t let a single sunny day go to waste. And with this in mind, April’s e-Newsletter is all about making the most of this superb sunny weather, and of course, Easter weekend.

Olly the Little White Van
Justin Fletcher is launching a campaign for children this week to promote Olly the Little White Van. The campaign encourages children to get dancing, singing and using their imagination - and they will get the chance to star on ITV, too! The videos will be combined into one film, and Olly will run in on the credits. All you have to do is simply upload a video to the website and they will choose which videos will appear in the credits of the show from Easter onwards.

| Sport Relief Visit |

Olympians visit St Swithun’s
Olympians Larry Achike and Todd Bennett, visited St Swithun’s Junior School to take part in a day to raise awareness and funds for Sport Relief. Each group took part in a 20 minute exercise class with the athletes, with the main event of the day being a Sport Relief run for all 130 children from years one to six - as well as the school’s staff! The pupils raised over £700 to be split between Sport Relief and a fund that supports young talented athletes. Well done!
