Police Explorer's Golf Tournament Today!

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL (September 15, 2012) – The Police Foundation's 5th Annual Golf Tournament supporting Police Explorer and Youth Programs kicks off today at 8:30 AM with a bagpipe start followed by a shotgun scramble!

Played on both the Champion and Palmer Courses at the PGA National Resort and Spa, the tournament brings together hundreds of golf enthusiasts for a full day including breakfast, lunch, an awards ceremony and silent auction.  Police Chief Stephen Stepp and numerous Police Officers from Palm Beach Gardens and police departments from throughout Florida will join in with avid golfers in this fun filled day that benefits the youth of Palm Beach Gardens.

Our thanks to all of the supporters and sponsors who have made this event possible for the past five years.  New to our sponsorship this year is the Law firm of Steinger, Iscoe & Greene. They've pledged $1 to the Foundation's Police Explorer and Youth Program for every new Facebook LIKE during Tournament week which runs from September 14-September 20.  You can ‘Like’ Steinger, Iscoe & Greene's Facebook at www.facebook.com/SteingerIscoeGreene

On behalf of the Police Explorer Post and the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department, a special thank you to all of today's participants for being a huge part of the future of our community’s youth.
