The Spring 2008 Alumni Affairs Team is proud to announce this semester's first alumni newsletter. Thus far, the semester has proven very successful. Our annual Risk Management Intern Reception had a large turnout with the number of companies that attended. It continues to get stronger each year. We hope you enjoy this edition even more than our November 2007 edition. On Saturday February 23, 2008, faculty, students and alumni joined together to watch the Temple Owls take on the Fordham Rams. The event was held in the Fox School’s box at half court in the Liacouras center. The Owl’s men’s team (14-12, 7-5 Atlantic 10), was defeated 78-76 after an extremely exciting second half. Throughout the years, Gamma Iota Sigma has donated to many local organizations. This semester Gamma Iota Sigma is proud to be donating all our proceeds to Neighborhood Bike Works. Neighborhood Bike Works is a nonprofit educational organization in West Philadelphia to promote youth development. 
Sigma Chapter and the Alumni Affairs team would like to thank all of the alumni who attended our Happy Hour at Public House on Thursday, February 7th, 2008. We look forward to seeing you at our next happy hour in the near future!
