Protect Me From What I Want

Ten Thousand

Considering a gym kit overhaul? Performance apparel newcomer Ten Thousand is a great place to start.

Thanks to clever marketing strategies, like their "Field Test" campaigns (where they sold product at cost in exchange for in depth reviews), this D2C headliner has established itself as legitimate alternative to the fitness industry behemoths.

Anything associated with the Special Forces is usually a clear winner for PMFWIW, so it's no surprise their Tactical Short is high up on my wish list!

Pressio

2XU Co-founder Jamie Hunt knows a thing or two about premium performance fabrics. Pressio is his latest enterprise, which emphasises sustainable practices, and the most advanced compression technology out there.

Check out their site for more information on their signature MAPP (Muscle Alignment Power Print) detailing, and their full range of technical textiles.

With claims of "reduced muscle oscillation" and "optimal greater output" - watch out for this gear being banned at the next Olympics!

KUIU

The Ultra Merino range has already been featured in our #baselayer edition (016), though on the topic of workout gear, I had to bring this one back.

Icebreaker and Smartwool are two solid merino alternatives, but KUIU's implementation of Nuyarn technology separates this series from the rest of the pack.

As a self proclaimed gear nerd, I can testify to how breathable, lightweight, comfortable, fast drying, and well-made these products are - without a doubt best in field.
