Whistler B.C. – It’s the half-way mark for Whistler’s Cornucopia, presented by BlueShore Financial but festival organizers are just getting warmed up. From winemaker dinners to deliciously-educational seminars, culinary demonstrations and hot ticket parties, November in Whistler is a utopia of culinary experiences – and there are still tickets to be had. Below is a highlight of events to experience from mid-week through the weekend. 

2019’s seminars have been more popular than ever before and the upcoming seminar schedule is sure to whet the whistle of wine-lovers, craft beer drinkers and cocktail enthusiasts alike. Mid-week through the weekend, patrons can choose from Rock n’ Rhone, Bottoms Up! Turning Wine Tasting on its Head, Craft Beers for Wine Lovers, BC Craft Gin & Tonic, Sherry & Tapas and many more.

Closer to the weekend, Cornucopia’s Signature Tasting events return kicking off with the newest addition this Thursday – Sashay Fillet, Whistler! followed with Poured Grand Tasting – the all-encompassing drink event featuring over 40 beer, wine, spirit and food vendors. Cap Saturday evening off with Abstract: Warhol Factory Party at the Audain Art Museum.

Chef’s Table Luncheon with Chef Rich Francis, Culinary Olympic Champ Chef Dave Ryan with the Dalmore and the Bearfoot Bistro’s World Oyster Invitational and Bloody Caesar Battle – just a few of the not-to-miss culinary demonstrations, meals and some friendly competition in true Whistler spirit round out the festival’s finale weekend.
