We hope you enjoy your SPRING BREAK! Please keep this newsletter for the week following Spring Break.

Academics (March 27-31)

Bible - We will spend the next two weeks studying the true meaning of Easter and why we celebrate.
Memory Verse - Matthew 28:6 “He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.”
Reading - We will review several important reading skills this week in preparation for Iowa testing next week.
Spelling - We will review and practice sight words - here are a few examples: their about world through where people because want when
Grammar - Review of skills already taught
Math - We will review all the math skills we have learned - please continue to work at home on math facts to 18 addition and subtraction. Also review multiplication facts of 0,1,2, and 5.

March 20-24 - Spring Break - No School
March 28 - Judges will listen to Easter poems
March 31 - Morning with Mom followed by the Art Fair
April 6 - Easter Speech Chapel
April 7 - Good Friday - No School
April 10-14 - Standardized Testing - Please, if at all possible, do not make any appointments during the morning hours 8-11 this week.
April 28 @3:30- Last day for AR points towards a medal
April 19 - Field Trip to War Eagle Caverns (more information will come soon - sorry, no parents on this trip)
May 24 - Awards Assembly @ 9:00 a.m. - Dismissal immediately after awards - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL - NO EXTENDED CARE or BUS
