Constant innovator

Speaking of the MTEM, our alumna Frances Valintine was a finalist for the 2017 New Zealand Innovator of the Year award. The award, which went to University of Auckland's Prof. Ed Gane, recognise 'inspiring Kiwis whose game-changing discoveries, research or inventions are driving society forward'. Onwards and upwards, Frances!


 

New book on ethics in higher education

Another MTEM alumna, Divya Singh, has co-edited Ethics in Higher Education: Values-driven Leaders for the Future, a new book looking at 'the values and virtues practiced in universities that are likely to influence leaders of the future and mitigate concerns about the rise more widely in unethical behavior wider society'. 2016 eLAMP feedback survey - free capstone winners

Congratulations to Helen Coleman and Tanveer Zia, winners of a free eLAMP capstone component each. The capstone is part of the eLAMP Bridging Program, which is available to current participants of the program.

Associate Director Ruth Schubert commented in 'Skill sets appeal to vocational students in NSW,' a story about the jump in students undertaking skills sets rather than formal courses, The Australian, 18 January.
