The exhibition considers the significant moments in Yirrkala’s history when artists have consciously altered their practice, developed new styles or embraced new mediums.

Cerith Wyn Evans creates epic contemporary environments of light and sound in our major winter exhibition. Conceived as if the audience were strolling through a Japanese garden, the exhibition will invite visitors to meditate and contemplate their own passage through space and time across a selection of major works, some never been seen before in Australia.
