I think every activity in heaven is under way this autumn!

As I reflect on the Ecclesiastes verse above and look at all of the activity on the NAECED list serve , respond to the many inquiries about the Episcopal Youth Event, attend Provincial and Diocesan Youth Ministry Network meetings, and prepare to lead various workshops in a variety of settings, I am deeply thankful for the mission and ministry to which God has called me. In this productive culture I am also aware that there may be a time for everything, but is there time for us humans to do everything?

My prayer for each of you missioners, specifically in Youth Ministry and the ever-widening vocations in the broad scope of Faith Formation, is that you establish a rhythm in the midst of the momentum of your ministry that includes self care of your body, your mind, and your spirit. Please remember to stop, drop, and play or pray. Treat yourself to a retreat. Find funding for a continuing education conference and go. If you don't have a regular routine of engaging Spiritual Direction, consider doing so. Take your day off! Sabbath is just as important as work. It will be Advent before we know it, and we don't want to be caught out of breath from running too long and to fast through the end of our liturgical year.

In this issue of EpiscoYouth Network News you will find several helpful links as well as two contributions from guests writers. Thanks to Sue Van Oss (pictured bottom right) and Linda Grenz for helping to build this network. You can keep tabs on the latest topics in Youth Ministry in a variety of ways. Help build the community and follow EpiscoYouth on Twitter, join the conversation on FaceBook/EpiscoYouth , and offer articles and comments on the EpiscoYouth Blog. ReTweet our Tweets. Share FaceBook links, send me articles for the Blog and Network News. Continue the conversation. I know I'm not in this ministry alone and your prayers and participation are not only comforting, but essential.

Thank you for answering your call to this amazing ministry.

Prayers

God, we come together to learn more about what needs to be changed so that the children of our country can grow up to be healthy, whole and strong. So much needs to be changed—and changed right now! We know that we can be the ones to help make that change happen. Help us as we learn more about what to do, how to do it, and why we must do it. Amen.
