iTech Prep launches quadcopter

Phantom 2 Vision+ Quadcopter

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s just the iTech Preparatory students doing what they do best—learning new things.

The students at iTech Prep, housed in the Clark College Building on campus, have a new way to engage with learning—a Phantom 2 Vision+ quadcopter with an onboard, high-definition digital camera. Using this flying camera drone, students will have a meaningful experience studying geography, geology, environmental science, aeronautical science, robotics, agriculture, digital photography and more.

Don’t be alarmed if you see the quadcopter taking off or landing on or near campus.
