SDS Business Opportunity Workshops Scheduled



Two business opportunity events are scheduled to invite companies interested in SDS work to learn about upcoming opportunities and meet the prime contractors.

 

On May 16, the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Colorado is hosting a “Breakfast with the Board” to highlight Colorado Springs economic development and SDS business opportunities from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the Olympic Training Center’s West Wing Conference Center at 1 Olympic Plaza in Colorado Springs. Register on the events page at www.agccolorado.org or by calling 303.388.2422. The breakfast and presentation cost is $30 for AGC members and $50 for non-members.

 

On May 23, Colorado Springs Utilities will host a SDS business opportunity workshop at the El Pueblo Museum, 301 North Union Avenue, in Pueblo from 5 to 7 p.m. There is no charge for this event. 

 

138 Businesses Working on SDS

 

The list of businesses working on SDS construction has grown to 138 different companies with regional or local offices in Colorado. In the last quarter alone, 18 new businesses have been hired by SDS contractors to support construction activity. More than $350 million in contracts have been awarded including more than $100 million to southern Colorado companies. Read the full list of companies supporting SDS.
