Winter Baptism at MVCC: The weekend of March 21-22, there will be an opportunity for you to proclaim your love and commitment to Jesus. Baptism is a symbol of our new life and relationship with Jesus and our first step of obedience after deciding to follow Him. The act of baptism is a public identification that one is a follower of Jesus (Romans 6:3-4). 

This winter, we are doing our water baptisms inside the worship center so more of you will have the opportunity to witness this special testament and share in the joy of those being baptized. Ladies of MVCC, this is the last call for signups for  our annual Women’s Retreat at White Sulphur Springs in Manns Choice, PA. Membership Meeting: Being connected to a church community is a big part of being a follower of Jesus and community is built on commitment. Membership at Mountain View communicates that you are a committed partner on our mission to make fully devoted followers of Jesus and reach Frederick for Christ. Compassion Corner: Our focus in February is “Hope for Refugees”. We will be collecting items for the Salaam Center in Baltimore for only two more weekends. The Salaam Center reaches out to the Muslim population in and around the Baltimore area. Requested items are:  flour, sugar, olive or cooking oil, Jasmine or Basmati rice, regular Lipton tea and nuts of any kind. Please, NO canned goods. You may drop off donations at the Compassion Corner by the stairwell on the top floor. Thank you for the generous donations that have already been provided.

Adoption Support Group: If you are thinking about adopting or are in the process of adopting, join us Sunday, March 15th from 4-6pm to hear from our own Kim Gjerde about her recently published book, Fierce Love. She will talk about her family's adoption experience and how God's love prevailed through the process. Child care is available.

Men's Bible Study: Hey guys, MVCC is the place to be this Friday morning, 6:30, in the Coffee Bar. Make a short detour on your way to work and join us for another round of great Bible study. We'll even fuel you up with good coffee and donuts. All are welcome.

Connect Track: Join us Sunday at 11am in the adult classroom as we gather to connect, grow, and serve Jesus. Connect Track runs every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sunday of the month. If you miss a week, no worries, just come back the next one. Whether you're new or a regular attender seeking your next step in your faith, Connect Track is for you.
