• Complete Online Application
• Immunizations -- Make sure your basic immunizations are up to date, including Tetanus and Hep A & B Series.
• Passport -- required if you would like to deploy internationally or join a Haiti team.
• Packing Checklist -- Review and begin collecting needed supplies.
• Secondary Training including (recommended not required):

1. **Salvation Army Introduction to Disaster Services -- watch for email about online versions
2. **Salvation Army Food Service (1/2 day course) --Click HERE for a list of Salvation Army trainings in your state.
3. NIMS. Free online courses by FEMA that may soon be required nationally. Click HERE to get started!
4. CPR / First Aid. -- Classes often available by local Red Cross or civic groups.

** As national partners with the Salvation Army, we recommend these two courses -- which are typically required to serve in their ranks!
