It looks like summer is here to stay for the next few months here in the Great Basin and as temps climb higher and higher we're all looking for a way to cool down. That's why we're introducing our newest brew, 39º N Blonde Ale. It's a perfectly quaffable fair-weather beer, light in color and body but savory from dry hopping with fragrant Citra Hops lending tropical fruit aromas to beat the summer heat.
Look for it at local restaurants and bars and of course at our Reno and sparks brewpubs.

The Icky Pickle - Nevada Brining Company brines these fine pickles with Ichthyosuar "Icky" India Pale Ale and pairs the bitterness of the hops with organic Juniper Berries. Though this is their newest release, it's quickly becoming their #1 seller! Find them at fine retailers in the Northern Nevada area and at our brewpub locations. We've changed our famous Willy Dillys at our brewpubs to these fantastic pickle spears - let us know what you think!

Dawn Patrol, the official brew of the Great Reno Balloon Race, will soon be available throughout Northern Nevada. It’s a light and refreshing Crystal Pale Ale that will have you soaring through summer.
Be on the lookout for 6-packs hitting shelves at the end of July.
Summer Menu Updates
We've added a few new summer inspired creations to our menu courtesy of our head chef James Garza. Be sure to come down and enjoy this seasonal menu with a brew or two. Our new menu items are:
Honey Jalapeno Shrimp Sauté: Large shrimp sautéed scampi-style in our butter, honey jalapeno, and beer sauce. Served with Icky garlic bread
Southwest Chicken Taco: Southwest spicy chicken on a bed of crisp mixed greens with cheddar jack cheese, tomatoes, green onions, and crisp tortilla chips. Served with ranch dressing and our own salsa
Rustic Chicken: Sliced charbroiled chicken breast with roasted tomatoes, brie cheese, and spinach on our house made Icky roll
Steak Fajita Wrap: Grilled and sliced tri-tip steak tossed with Chimichurri sauce with grilled bell peppers, onions, cheese, black beans, chipotle mayo, and crispy romaine lettuce wrapped in a spinach tortilla
Chicken Picatta: Chicken breast topped with a lemon garlic Wheeler Peak Wheat sauce, capers, artichoke hearts, and parmesan cheese. Served with linguini, seasonal sautéed vegetables, and garlic bread
Cinnamon Raisin Bread Pudding: Our house-made cinnamon raisin bread transformed into luscious pudding. Served warm with caramel sauce and whipped cream
Bitchin’ Berry Panna Cotta: Rich and silky brown sugar with vanilla pudding, topped with Bitchin’ Berry sauce and fresh berries
We're honored to recently have been awarded medals in the prestigious Los Angeles International Beer Competition. With thousands of entries from across the globe, Great Basin stood out with three wins. Ichthyosaur "ICKY" IPA won a silver medal in the English-style India Pale Ale category. The Great Pumpkin Ale won a silver medal in the Pumpkin Ale category. And finally, our Kaffir Lime Leaf & Basil Saison won a silver medal in the Herb & Spice Beer category.
