What a fantastic job these students did in Christmas Chapel! We are so proud of them. You are finished with the recorder for 4th grade. Keep it somewhere safe for next year! 1 more week of school for this semester. Let’s finish strong!

Next Week

Bible - We will be studying the birth of Christ and focusing on Christmas.
Memory Verse - Isaiah 9:6, “For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”
Spelling - Latin root word - SOLV meaning “to loosen” (ex: solve, dissolve, solvent)
Language - skill and pattern review, finish writing samples
Reading- skill review, finish City of Ember comparison
Math - Least common multiple, least common denominators, addition and subtraction of fractions with uncommon denominators, test 8 on Friday.

Reminders

Please send a labeled coat for when we are able to go outside. Also, any jackets worn in the classroom are to be navy blue.
Metal water bottles are not allowed in the classrooms this year. Please send a plastic bottle.
