Special Recruitment Event December 6, 2016
CPC Workforce Development will be hosting a special recruitment event for bilingual (English and Chinese) customer service and interpreter positions. Interested individuals must bring a hard copy of their resume and a photo ID.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bilingual in English and Chinese
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficient
- Flexible and able to work different shifts
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred

CPC Brooklyn Community Services Kicks-Off a
Bountiful Holiday Season
On November 23, 2016, the CPC Brooklyn Community Services held a Thanksgiving luncheon with 120 seniors at Park Asia Restaurant. Special thanks to Assemblyman Peter Abbate, Assemblywoman Pam Harris and Councilman Mark Treyger who brought in turkeys to share with our seniors. Additional thanks to Empire BCBS for donating the wonderful raffle prizes and goodies for everyone at the event.
During this joyous celebration, Assemblymember Abbate also recognized four CPC Brooklyn Senior Services volunteers for their tireless dedication to our seniors and community. Congratulations Xin Zhou, Jin Mei Chen, Man Mei Wong and Chiu Chun Liu!

Overcoming Life Struggles to Become a US Citizen
Ms. Zheng, a 61 year-old senior, first immigrated to the United States in 2011. As a new immigrant lost in a foreign country, she and her family suffered from poor living conditions as well as difficulty overcoming language barriers. This prevented her from seeking eligible benefit resources. Extremely unhappy with her situation, Ms. Zheng came to CPC Brooklyn Community Services with hopes of finding options for a better life.
