Q: What size should the shower area be?
A: If space allows, the minimum comfortable shower area for a client sitting to take a shower is 1200 x 800mm. If an extra wide seat is required, then the width should be increased to 900mm.

Q: Waste pumps can be noisy, are there quieter pumps?
A: The quietest pumps on the market are:
- 'Whale Instant Match' Pump when used with the 'Mira Advance Flex Extra' shower.
- The AKW 'Luda' shower with the 'Includa' pump (Also known as 'Digipump4')

News update from Finance Director, Angie Emery
Happy New Year to you all! I cannot believe that the festivities are all over.
2011 looks like it will be an exciting time for DSL, as our plans for the new showroom/assessment area are coming along a pace now.
I am also delighted to be able to say that DSL Installations is now CHAS* accredited, which is great news. All the team have worked hard to make sure that we are conforming to all the relevant Health & Safety procedures, but I would like to single out our Supervisor at Farnborough, Simon Winters, for making time in his day for all the extra work required. As you can see from the photo, he is very proud of that Certificate.
* For those that are unfamiliar with CHAS, it stands for Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme. You can find out more here.

Well done Simon!

News update from DSL, Sittingbourne
We want to wish everyone a Happy New Year from Sittingbourne. All the staff have returned safe and are well after the Christmas break, raring to go.
As the Financial year is coming to an end, we are looking to a busy year. Contracts with Russett Homes have now been signed, so we're looking forward to working with them in the near future, and we continue to work with Gravesham, Orbit and all local Home Improvement Agencies.
