New research has found evidence to show that breastfeeding can cause a child to do better academically than they would have done if they were fed on infant formula. In every test children who had been breastfed did better.

16-22 May
Alongside Real Nappy Week, Real Nappies for London will be conducting a 'Switch at 6' campaign with a series of 'pop-up' shops in London stores on the High Street, libraries, markets, cafes and cinemas. The aim of the campaign is to show mums that they can still use real nappies even if they didn't start when their baby was born, because at 6 months or even older your baby usually needs fewer changes meaning fewer nappies to wash and dry.
