We have had another great week – we can’t believe it’s time for March!

Next Week

Bible - We will be studying the life of Jesus – specifically His mercy toward us.
Memory Verse - Micah 6:8, “Mankind, He has told you what is good and what it is the Lord requires of you: to act justly, to love faithfulness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
Reading - We will be reading a story called “Half Chicken” and going over the skill Author’s Purpose.
Spelling - Words with ie and ei that make the long e sound. Here are some examples: chief pier field yield ceiling receive receipt
Grammar - We will continue to work with irregular adjectives for present and past uses.
Math - Review of multiplication, word problems, addition & subtraction to thousand’s place, geometric shapes, identifying shape patterns, and reviewing symmetrical figures

Shiloh Voted 2019 Best of NWA Gold Medal Winner in all Divisions!

We’re excited to announce that Shiloh was voted 2019 Best of NWA Gold Medal Winner in Private School, Preschool, Elementary, Middle School and High School! The Private School division was added six years ago, and we have been blessed to win it six years in a row. Thank you for helping us achieve this accomplishment! Our parents, our students and our staff make Shiloh a truly special place! We are honored to serve our students and families each day and look forward to many more years partnering with you as we raise the next generation of Godly leaders.

Important Dates

March 2 - Teacher Compassion Fund Giving Day - Bring $1 and wear spirit dress.
March 4 - Spring Pictures
March 9-13 - Book Fair
March 13 - Morning with Mom and Art Fair @ 7:00 am in the Fellowship Gym
March 16-19 - We will be having Student-led Conferences each afternoon during this week of March 16-19 from 3:30-4:00 for a fifteen minute conference. We will send a Sign Up Genius next week for you to sign up for a time.
March 20th - NO SCHOOL - THIS BEGINS OUR SPRING BREAK
March 23-27 - Spring Break (No school)
April 9 - Easter Chapel @ 8:30 a.m. & Easter Parties @ 2:30 p.m.
April 10 - No School - Good Friday pending no snow days
April 13-17 - This will be the week of IOWA testing – we will test beginning at 8:15 a.m. until lunch time at 11:00 a.m. Please do not schedule any doctor or dentist appointments during this week if at all possible. We do not make up tests.
