New issue of DPI Grapevine Management Guide now available

NSW grapegrowers are being encouraged to get their free copy of this season’s edition of the ever-popular Grapevine Management Guide and access the latest information on protecting their vineyard from pests and diseases.

The guide is available to all viticulture producers and in NSW is available to collect from their regional wine growing association, DPI and Catchment Management Authority offices in major growing areas.

GWRDC invites applications for PhD and Honours scholarships

GWRDC is now inviting applications for PhD and Honours scholarships to commence in 2014.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence, the quality of the applicant's Curriculum Vitae and the likelihood of the applicant's ongoing involvement and contribution to the Australian wine sector.

Applications close Friday 8 November 2013 and scholarships will commence from 1 January 2014.

GWRDC invites applications for 2014 travel scholarships

GWRDC is now inviting applications for travel scholarships in the first half of 2014.

GWRDC will consider applications for travel, study tours or conference attendance that align with the wine sector’s strategic research, development and extension (RD&E) priorities and can demonstrate that benefits will accrue to the sector and/or existing research.

The closing date for travel scholarships from 1 January to 30 June 2014 is Friday 6 December 2013.
