Event Planet kicked off the year with the sand between our toes, transforming Shelly Beach Kiosk into a Hamptons-style haven for Veuve Clicquot. For something new, the funky DJ was housed in a custom-made sand castle booth! The guests enjoyed French champagne, delicious food and groovy Summer tunes while wearing their on-brand havianas and playing petanque, beach cricket and limbo. Event Planet successfully launched Sheridan's Autumn/Winter 2011 product range in a roadshow to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The feature pillow wall and real life bed displays were a hit with the guests. The event incorporated a ‘Romance of Europe’ theme and included decorations of miniature Eiffel Towers, macaroons, ornately framed images of European scenery and beautiful floral displays in stunning, oversized urns. Conferences, conferences, conferences! Event Planet has been busy organising conferences, large and small, for our corporate and Government clients. We have been around the country a couple of times, or maybe more, and across to NZ too. Event Planet has been providing a multitude of services including venue hire, catering, AV, invitations, registrations, event website development, photography, videography and more. In the course of what we do, we learn a lot about our clients, their products and services, their staff and the people they do business with. We love this part of our job. One day it is towels, Champagne the next, then mobile phones, cars, bras and more.
