Marketing With Digital Signage

The Chamber recently joined with a Community-based Digital Signage network called ScreenScape.

This tool enables the Chamber to post audio/video items, power-point images, static posters, photographs, YouTube video, RRS feeds of news and weather, as well as paid promotional items. With the number of people who visit the centre over the course of a year it is possible that the images displayed are seen by thousands. We have the ability to add/delete content at any time which plays out on the visual display screen in three areas. These are referred to as the Ticker, Theatre and Sidebar displays. Just like watching TV.

Place your marketing piece on the Chamber's Digital Signage today. Pricing starts at $20.00/month. Call the Chamber for details.

The Visitor Centre is open daily. View our display 24 hours a day at website links on www.bracebridgechamber.com and www.tourismbracebridge.com or by going directly to http://bracebridgechamber.screenscape.net/.

Network After Hours

Want to get yourself out there with maximum exposure while minimizing the fuss and expense? Attend an after hours event with the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce.

"It's a total win-win," says John Crawley, General Manager of the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce. "The host gets to showcase their business to the Bracebridge business community while attendees network with their peers in a relaxed social setting."

In addition to helping organize the event, which takes place on the last Monday of most months, the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce also promotes it to its members and on the radio.

BAH events attract an average of 55 business community members, but attendance can be as high as 90 people.

"These events are a great way to introduce your products, services and facility to the Bracebridge business community," Crawley says, noting that an ideal time to host is following a relocation, a renovation or business expansion.

Join us Tuesday, September 27th at 6:00 pm at the Habitat for Humanity Muskoka Restore, expand your contact list and grow your business!

If you would like to attend please RSVP to Marny at (705) 645-5231 or marny@bracebridgechamber.com.

Visitors also received Canada Day flags, tattoos, bookmarks and pins.

Later in the evening the Bracebridge Chamber of Commerce presented a concert in Kelvin Grove Park with local band "Cabin Fever."

Mayor's Business Luncheon

The Wednesday June 1st power outage in Bracebridge did not stop Mayor Graydon Smith.  He was the guest speaker at the Chamber's first Business Luncheon for 2011.  Although a meal-less lunch, all those who attended enjoyed the Mayor's report on Bracebridge.
