PDRs for Professional Services

PDR Reviewee Session

Worried about your PDR? Can't see the point? Not sure about the paperwork? Then come along to our short session aimed at helping reviewees get the most out of their PDRs.

We will look at why we have PDRs in Professional Services and how they work and we will explore ways of maximising

PDR Briefing Session (Professional Services Reviewers)

This is seminar-style session about the  competencies, PDR process and getting the best out of PDRs.

The purpose of this briefing session is to inform PDR reviewers in Professional Services about:

  • Competency framework.
  • The PDR process.
  • Web based learning material.
  • To introduce staff to a coaching framework to enhance the quality of PDR discussions. 

PDR Reviewer Skills Session

This is an interactive workshop to help reviewers get the most out of PDRs by adopting a coaching style.

By the end of the workshop delegates will have:

  • Examined what PDRs are all about.
  • Understand what a coaching style looks and feels like.
  • Practiced using a coaching style in a 1:1 situation.
  • Considered how using a coaching style helps in PDRs.
  • Identified the skills can develop to improve the way they review staff.
   
         
 

PDRs for Research Fellows

PDR Reviewers Training (Reviewers of Research Fellows)

This session is aimed at new reviewers and reviewers new to the University of Exeter.

The purpose of the briefing session is to inform PDR reviewers of Research staff about the PDR process and the web-based support.
