FamilyPoint Cymru has launched.  

After a year of scoping and development, FamilyPoint Cymru is now available across Wales, offering families a simple way to find information and access to services via the website, phone, text and instant message.

The site has been live since May but it has undergone many iterations in response to continued consultation with families, local authorities and partner organisations across Wales.  Their feedback has enabled us to develop a website that is easy to navigate, accessible and relevant to families.

Keep an eye out for our bus poster campaign across Wales throughout November.

Families can get in touch by phone, text and instant message from Monday - Thursday, 6pm - 10pm and Friday-Saturday 10am - 2pm. These hours have been set in order to complement the existing FIS info lines.

Our experienced info-line advisers not only have a wealth of knowledge about services in Wales for families and young people, they have the skills to provide advocacy support if required.

During half term, we spent the day in Swansea with EYST where parents took part in web testing and starred in our new 30 second film.

Working with Action for Children we carried out user testing with parents in Newtown and Caerphilly and parents from Llais Rhieni in Lampeter.

Coming up in November we'll be continuing to test with parents from Denbighshire, Flintshire, Cardiff and Gwynedd.

We have just set up FamilyPointers - a new Facebook group for parents who would like to get more involved.  This is being developed to give parents a voice - whether it's having a say in decision making on FamilyPoint and representing parents on the Project Advisory Board, engaging other parents in their communities or submitting editorial - blogs, stories, issues etc.  We will be inviting parents we have already consulted with to join and find out from them what skills, training or support they would want in order to get involved and take an active role in FamilyPoint development.

Mae PwyntTeulu Cymru wedi lansio.

Mae PwyntTeulu Cymru bellach ar gael ledled Cymru ar ôl blwyddyn o ymgynghori a datblygu. Mae'n cynnig ffordd syml i deuluoedd ddod o hyd i wybodaeth a chael mynediad i wasanaethau ar y we, ffôn, neges testun a negeseuo gwib.

Mae'r wefan yn fyw ers mis Mai ond wedi newid a'i addasu yn ymateb i ymgynghoriadau parhaus gyda theuluoedd, awdurdodau lleol a sefydliadau partner ledled Cymru. Rydym wedi gwrando ar yr adborth ac wedi datblygu gwefan sydd yn hawdd i'w lywio, sy'n hygyrch ac sy'n berthnasol i deuluoedd.

Bydd ymgyrch posteri ar fysus ledled Cymru yn digwydd yn ystod mis Tachwedd.

Gall teuluoedd gysylltu ar y ffôn, neges testun a negeseuon gwib o ddydd Llun i ddydd Iau, 6pm i 10pm a dydd Gwener i ddydd Sadwrn 10am i 2pm. Penderfynwyd ar yr oriau yma i ategu'r llinellau gwybodaeth GGD sy'n bodoli.

Mae ein cynghorwyr yn llawn o wybodaeth am wasanaethau i deuluoedd a phobl ifanc yng Nghymru, ac mae ganddynt sgiliau cefnogaeth eiriolaeth hefyd os oes angen.

Treuliwyd diwrnod yn Abertawe dros yr hanner tymor yn siarad gyda rhieni o'r Tîm Cymorth Ieuenctid Ethnig fu'n profi'r wefan yn ogystal â serennu yn ein ffilm 30 eiliad newydd.

Yn gweithio gyda Gweithredu Dros Blant, bu rhieni yng Nghasnewydd a Caerffili a Llais Rhieni yn Llanbedr Pont Steffan, yn profi'r gwasanaeth.

Rydym yn parhau i brofi'r wefan gyda rhieni yn ystod mis Tachwedd yn Sir Ddinbych, Sir y Fflint, Caerdydd a Gwynedd.

Mae'r grŵp Facebook newydd sbon i rieni, PwyntyddionTeulu, yn bodoli i'r rhai fydda'n hoffi cymryd mwy o ran. Mae'n cael ei ddatblygu i roi llais i rieni, wrth wneud penderfyniadau ar PwyntTeulu  a chynrychioli rhieni ar Fwrdd Ymgynghorol y Prosiect, yn cysylltu gyda rhieni eraill yn eu cymunedau neu gyflwyno deunydd golygyddol - blogiau, straeon, phroblemau ayb. Bydd y rhieni sydd wedi'u hymgynghori eisoes yn cael gwahoddiad i fod ar y grŵp a byddem yn darganfod pa fath o sgiliau, hyfforddiant neu gefnogaeth fydda'n ddymunol er mwyn iddynt gymryd mwy o ran a bod yn weithredol yn natblygiad PwyntTeulu.
