Wednesday 19th April sees us tee-off our 2017 Fitting Tour by welcoming the ever popular PING brand to Cawder GC between 3:00pm-7:00pm.

With expert technicians on site along with the necessary FlightScope launch monitors, this would be the ideal opportunity to try out their latest kit.

Testing on the "G" range has proven it to be extremely playable with it's consistent performance making it continually appeal to a broad spectrum of golfers. With the addition of the fantastic new Crossover category only adding further confirmation that PING equipment will greatly enhance your enjoyment of the game.

Call us now on 0141 772 7102 to book an appointment or alternatively feel free to roll up on Wednesday 19th April and we will do our best to get you kitted out.

"G" Driver

A process called biomimicry, PING engineers analyzed the dragonfly’s intricate wing pattern to design ultra-thin crown sections for extreme CG and maximized MOI. Dragonfly Technology, Vortec Technology, turbulators and a strong T9S face created our longest, most forgiving driver ever.

Available in three models to fit your preferred trajectory. Standard G, SFTec and the LSTec...let our Professional staff expertly fit you to suit your preferred ball flight!

"G" Fairway

With the G fairway woods, getting the ball in the air is easy with their lower lead edge, which gets the club under the ball so impact occurs higher on the face. Our thinnest crown ever in a PING fairway wood allows for a low-back CG to ensure high launch, low spin and extreme forgiveness.

Custom-engineered with weight closer to the heel, a lighter swing weight, and higher lofts for players whose typical miss is to the right, the G SF Tec produces right-to-left shot bend.

Ping "G" Irons

G irons are heat treated using a specialized process, creating a Hyper 17-4 alloy that is 40% stronger than traditional 17-4 SS. This allows the faces to be thinner and provide four times the face flexing with improved stability. The results are big distance gains and a higher peak trajectory for better stopping power so you can hit and hold the green.

COR-Eye Technology generates sizeable distance gains by simultaneosuly activating the sole, face and top rail in flexing for consistently faster ball speeds across the hotter face. In addition to four times the face flexing, the G head is more stable and forgiving.

Connecting the Custom Tuning Port to the sole creates a deeper CG that helps elevate the launch angle while increasing MOI for greater accuracy.

At address, the iron’s refined look is created by a thin top rail, satin-blast finish and appropriate offset. Acoustics and feel are optimized in the back cavity with damping tape that covers a large area.

"G" Hybrids

Hybrid technology takes a leap forward, highlighted by the G’s innovative tiered internal sole, which helps activate face flexing to power the ball off the face faster for greater distance. The ultra-thin crown allows for a low-back center of gravity to ensure high launch, reduced spin and a higher MOI for maximizing forgiveness and increased performance.

Crossover

PING created a new category – the Crossover – to combine the precision, workability and control of an iron with the speed and forgiveness of a hybrid. It’s not a driving iron; the Crossover is far more forgiving, higher launching and more versatile. An innovative cascading internal sole engages the entire face, sole and top rail in flexing to maximize distance.

"Glide" Wedges

Glide wedges are engineered from the hands down (grip to sole) to ensure short-game performance by increasing spin and consistency from any distance. The Dyla-wedge grip (longer for gripping down for trajectory control), CFS Wedge shaft (weight, flex and balance optimized) and head design (moisture-repelling 431 stainless steel, 3 sole options, added bounce, loft-optimized Gorge grooves) combine to deliver our most versatile and consistent wedge line to date.
