IT Factory between the lines: Corporate Identity by Jacob Jensen Design.

The Danish Museum of Art & Design exhibits a considerable amount of graphic work designed by Jacob Jensen Design. From June 2007 to December 2008, Jacob Jensen Design created a complete identity program for IT Factory. The exhibition gives the public an insight into the way a Corporate Identity is developed today.

Red dot design award

The red dot design award – one of the most renowned and challenging international design competitions – the Jabra JX20 Pura designed by Jacob Jensen received an honorable mention from the group of expert judges.

Of the 3,231 products submitted to the competition, 194 honorable mentions were given to products that distinguished themselves by having extraordinary design details.

Victoria Bowl

In 2008, the Victoria Bowl was included in the design collection at The Danish Museum of Art & Design in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Furthermore, it is now also included in the design collection at The National Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.

In collaboration with Jacob Jensen Design, Skive Business Council is inviting to an exciting themed meeting.

The meeting focuses on the use of design as a competitive parameter and the importance of the company’s profile and image towards its clients.
The program features presentations by chief designer Timothy Jensen, Jacob Jensen Design and The Danish Design Center, a case study “Best Practice PR” by Cecilia Lindgren and a workshop that emphasizes the participants’ own wishes and needs.

The meeting is for Skive Business Council's members, who will receive an invitation with relevant information about the program, event fee, deadline etc.

Nordic telephone

From the Ericsson’s Skeleton in 1892 and the Finnish mobile giant Nokia to Jacob Jensen’s omnipresent model 76E, Nordic telephone design has revealed one world-famous model after the other.

The story of Nordic telephone design can now be seen in an exhibition at the Post & Tele Museum. Each country presents its design history and gives prominence to the most important contributors. A selection of telephones will also be on display.

Furthermore the exhibition will travel to the Architecture and Design Conference with Focus on Scandinavian Design in Israel on 22nd May 2009, where Timothy Jacob Jensen will be one of the key-note speakers.

Skive AM

Sunday, March 8th at 10:30 am the Skive AM Running club had a meeting at Jacob Jensen Design.

After an introduction to the Design collection, a group of more than 20 people went for a 14 kilometer run in the surroundings of Jacob Jensen Design. The whole event ended with coffee and networking at House of Jacob Jensen.

For years Jacob Jensen Design has, through DAC, supported an Afghanistan school for girls and inspired by the upcoming Code of conduct, JACOB JENSEN™ decided to give a different kind of present to its partners for Christmas 2008: A gift certificate to an African Business of their own choice, initiated by Danish entrepreneur company, MyC4.
